Psst! Support the podcast and

In this episode I chat to Alanna Flowers who is a freelance lettering artist and designer based in Brooklyn, NY where she runs AGF Design Studio.

As a lettering artist, she creates work using bold lettering in a range of styles for brands like Adobe, The Los Angeles Times, and American Greetings. In addition to working with clients, she enjoys sharing what she knows about lettering, digital art, and freelance through YouTube and other social channels.

She started a series on TikTok about busting limiting beliefs and so in this episode we tackle some of the common ones you might experience as a creative and Alanna gives us her tips on how to handle them.

A big thanks to the sponsor of this episode Cosy Craft Club. They have kit boxes of every kind of craft you can imagine. You can either buy a one off box or a subscription and you get sent in the post everything you need to try a new craft. I decided to go for making a set of eco resin coasters - you know those super cool terrazzo ones - but I’ll be honest after a few minutes on the website I have now made a long list other boxes I wanted to try. So if you are looking for a new skill to learn or are just looking for a creative outlet to inspire you then I would hugely recommend Cosy Craft Club.
